Sadlers Alaska Challenge 2009 - 25th Anniversary Handcycle and Wheelchair Race Announcement Soon!

Challenge Alaska, organisers of the famed Sadler’s Alaska Challenge are getting set to make an announcement about the 2009 extra special 25th Anniversary race known for being the world’s hardest wheelchair and handcycle race.
This years race was cancelled to allow race officials the time and resources to concentrate on the 25th Anniversary race, which is promising to be the most spectacular, and gruelling, ever. With much speculation about the route for the summer 2009 race route, Sadler’s Alaska Challenge are planning to announce final details of the race, and route, on 1st September.
With under a year left until this epic race, it’s really time to start training if you hope to take part, never mind finish! If you need a little motivation or inspiration to get started, check out the teaser for the event:
So dust off that handcycle and hit the road, with previous races lasting six days or more, you need all the training you can get for what is known as the “holy grail” of wheelchair and handcycling races.
