colored wheelchair tires

We like rolling on 24 or 26 inch wheels here at pushingthelimits, with big gnarly mountain bike tires to make sure if we do hit someone’s toes then it going to be a job well done. Obviously we could try and convince you that the extra traction in snow and loose ground comes in handy, but it’s really about trying to look cool with big tires.

So what do you do if you feel that black tires, no matter how big, just aren’t cool enough and you want to take things to the next level.

We’ve got your back with our first (of many) tips on how to pimp your wheelchair.

Introducing SweetSkinz colored tires for those who really want to stand out from the crowd while crushing toes and taking names. According to the site, Sweetskinz is the only company with the technology to actually inject long lasting dye into rubber at the manufacturing stage, rather than simply painting the rubber after manufacture. They promise that the designs are long lasting and although the color on the tread may fade through normal wear and tear, the side-walls will still be looking pimptastic in years to come.

With quite a few different designs and colors to choose from we’re sure you can get a pair to match those sparkling front castors of yours.
